Program Overview
The PhD Program in City and Regional Planning offers an interdisciplinary platform for advanced research on urban and regional issues. Covering scales from urban design to national and regional planning, the program addresses key themes such as space, environment, society, economy, law, and policy.
The program is designed to prepare researchers for academic careers while also equipping professionals with specialized expertise. Students are encouraged to critically engage with social, cultural, ecological, and spatial dynamics; to analyze legal and administrative processes and their societal impacts; and to integrate theory with practice within an ethical and innovative research environment.
Program Objectives
The program aims to:

- Regional Planning
 Includes urban economics, sustainability, and tourism.
- Urban Design
 Includes cultural heritage and conservation, and urban aesthetics.
